StdntOS Support

How can we help?

Find answers for getting started, installing StdntOS, understanding the workspace, and solving common issues.

Getting started

Build your semester from the foundation up.

StdntOS works best when your semester and courses are entered first. Those become the foundation for the rest of your workspace.

1

Create your semester

Add the semester name along with its start and end dates. This establishes the academic period StdntOS will organize.

2

Add your courses

Enter each course once, including the instructor, course colour, meeting schedule, and grading setup you want to use.

3

Add your schoolwork

Add assignments, readings, tests, exams, and other coursework to the correct course and due date.

4

Let the workspace connect

Your dashboard, calendars, weekly planning tools, and Grade Hub use the course and schoolwork information you entered.

Troubleshooting

Common questions.

Try these steps before requesting additional support.

StdntOS will not open after installation.

Restart Windows and try launching StdntOS again from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.

If the issue continues, confirm that you installed the application from the official StdntOS download provided with your purchase.

I added schoolwork but cannot find it.

Confirm that the correct semester is active and that the schoolwork was assigned to a course in that semester.

Also check any active filters in Schoolwork or Calendar that may be hiding the item.

My calendar looks different than expected.

Check your calendar visibility controls and your course meeting schedules. Hidden categories will not appear until they are enabled again.

My grade calculation does not look right.

Review the grading scale, coursework weights, submitted status, and entered grades for the course. Grade calculations depend on the information entered for that course.

Is StdntOS a subscription?

No. StdntOS 1.x is planned as a one-time purchase rather than a monthly or annual subscription.
